Fuel System Vibration Testing
Automotive Research provides fuel system vibration testing for automotive fuel systems and components, using a MTS servo-hydraulic fatigue vibration test system. Intertek performs vibration and fatigue analysis on customer products, in addition to an extensive list of testing services including SHED testing, and other component durability testing, such as slosh testing, pressure/vacuum measurements, etc.
 

Included with the vibration test system is a 6'x 6' x 4' environmental chamber which can be used to control temperature from -100oC to 120oC. Typical testing applications include:

  • Circulation of live fuel, Stoddard solvent, or water within the fuel system
  • Pressure/vacuum cycling
  • Performing various vibration and temperature sweeps
  • Any combination of the above
