ASG Analytical Services Background:

ASG has a long history of advanced, innovative analytical scientific research and trouble-shooting, having served as the major central analytical laboratory for Avecia from June 1999 to April 2004. The ASG laboraratory was a significant component of corporate analytical infrastructure within Zeneca and ICI prior to formation of Avecia.

Development of analytical capability and expertise to support the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology businesses was and is today a major focus area. ASG R&D projects have built a state of the art capability in key areas of characterisation, with benefits ongoing today as ASG offers efficient ongoing capabilities and services.

Intertek ASG capabilities and services are now accessible to a much broader client base, thanks to the recent laboratory outsourcing project by Avecia to Intertek Plc. ASG is now an independent laboratory, part of the global Intertek laboratory network, and trades as Intertek ASG.
