IntertekBelgië is gespecialiseerd in het testen van de kwaliteit van biobrandstoffen.
Het Intertek laboratorium in België biedt het volledige pakket aan testen
i.v.m. biodiesel brandstoffen volgens EN 14214 , alsook het analyseren van pure plantaardige oliën (PPO) volgens DIN 51605. Het biobrandstof laboratorium is dag en nacht beschikbaar, 365 dagen per jaar en is geaccrediteerd volgens ISO 17025.

Intertek is een specialist op het gebied van kwaliteitscontrole op biodiesel.,onderzoek bij contaminatie , sporen analyse, bacteriële en andere gerelateerde testen.
Bio brandstof klanten waarderen een snelle, accurate en competitieve service van onze laboratoria.
Intertek laboratoria testen ook alternatieve of experimentele bio brandstoffen zoals E-Diesel (Ethanol gemixte diesel brandstof) of biodiesel afkomstig van gebruikte frituuroliën.

- Pure Plantaardige Olie (PPO) volgens DIN 51605

Biodiesel is het mono alkyl ester van lange ketens vetzuren afkomstig van plantaardige oorsprongen zoals o.a. koolzaadolie. De Europese commissie heeft als streefdoel gesteld dat tegen 2010, 5.75% van alle verbruikte energie in Europa afkomstig moet zijn van biobrandstoffen.
