Wireline Instruments

Hanson Research International Wireline Manufacturer:
Potential Monitors, Resistivity Meters, Back-up Depth Odometers and more

The Hanson range of field products is designed for the global wireline industry. Hanson

s rugged and durable wireline instruments includes the PM205, the world's most successful Perforation Monitor. Hanson instruments are installed in hundreds of Wireline trucks worldwide.

Hanson Wireline Instruments include:

The PM-205 Potential Monitor:

The PM-205 is specifically designed for oilfield operations. The PM-205 provides extra information to the field
engineer during perforating operations, helping the engineers check that the rig site is safe for operations. The PM-205 and then continuously monitors critical parameters during operations. With over 20 years of in-field experience, the PM-205 Potential Monitor has a proven track record for performance and durability.

Features include:

The RM-744+ Fluid Resistivity Meter:

The RM-744+ Fluid resistivity meter is designed for the oil industry, quick and simple to use, and provides laboratory precision in the field and rugged durability.

Features include:

  • 4-terminal measurement system
  • Immune to electrode contamination and oil coating
  • Direct digital readout of resistivity and temperature
  • Rugged construction
  • Quick and simple to use
  • Unique easy-clean fluid cell for filtrate, mud, and mud-cake
  • Based on the RM-744, supplied to leading wireline companies over a decade

The DM-100 Series Backup Depth Odometer:

When your primary depth measurement system fails due to a power failure, the DM100 continues to provide an accurate depth display to enable the wireline operators to get out of the hole. The DM-100 backup depth encoder is a small low-cost system designed to provide independent depth measurement. The DM-100 differs from many depth-logging systems on the market, as it doesn’t use a conventional speedo cable; it uses a digital signal generated by a small encoder attached to the measuring wheel.

Features include:

  • Back-up Depth Display for wireline units
  • Internal battery maintains depth in the event of mains power failure
  • Replaces mechanical (flexible cable drive) back-up depth systems
  • Hazardous area versions available
  • Download the DM-100 Specification Sheet
