Marine & General
Cargo Survey Division:
Intertek Hong Kong services focus primarily on maritime related
work, and has been appointed surveyors to various Hull & Machinery
Underwriters, Shipowners, P&I Club and Oil majors, and regularly
requested to act as Consultant in marine services related matters.
Increasing environmental awareness calls for control and prevention

Surveying and Adjusting of Maritime Claims: Paulsen & Bayes-Davy Limited (PBD), formerly known as Gilman
& Co. Ltd., is a member of the Intertek Testing Services group.
The company engages in surveying and adjusting of maritime
claims and represents underwriters worldwide, making it one of the
most established independent claims administration provider in the
Far East.
PBD offers convenient one-stop claims services from surveying to
settlement of claims. PBD is the central claims centre for China,
Macau and Hong Kong. The company acts as Average Agent for major
underwriters worldwide. Some of the services are outlined as follows:
