Rhomax-ITS Ltd hold reference standards for mass up to 60kg, temperature up to 1000C, pressure up to 300 Bar g and length up to 250 mm.

UKAS Orifice Plate Calibration:

Calibration, certification and refurbishment of Orifice Plates per ISO 5167-2-2003 standard. Orifice Plates require calibration and certification prior to installation. Rhomax-ITS Ltd ensures full compliance with best measurement practices. Calibrations are conducted to the highest standards to meet contractual requirements and are carried out in Rhomax-ITS laboratory under stable conditions, using standards traceable to the UK National Standards.

UKAS Temperature and Pressure Instrument Calibration:

Rhomax-ITS Ltd offer temperature instrument calibrations in the range of -10 to +100 degrees C and pressure from 6 to 300-bar g.

Equipment Standard:

The traceability of all measuring equipment used is assured by reference to UK National Standards.

Velocity of Sound Calculations (VoS):
Rhomax-ITS can correct for VoS in any fluid, with the data generated and profiled for furture reference.

Flow Meter Provers:

Regular Proving assignments are undertaken onshore, offshore or overseas. Proving of Flow Meters can be conducted both in the field and at manufacturer's works. Field proving is conducted wherever possible with the operational product.

Proving is conducted to the highest precision required by International standards to meet contractual requirements. Regular re-proving or single assignments are undertaken onshore, offshore or overseas. Calibration of Mechanical Displacement Meter Provers is conducted both in the field and at manufacturer's facilities.

Fiscal Prover Calibration:

Calibration of Fiscal Pipe Provers conducted on process fluids. Rhomax-ITS Ltd transfer standards are Brooks Small Volume Provers with dedicated reference meters and data acquisition equipment suitable for Zone 1 use. Rhomax-ITS Ltd have a selection of UKAS certified glass and stainless steel delivery vessels.

Meter Calibration:

Rhomax-ITS Ltd conduct calibration of Fiscal, Allocation and Test Meters in-situ on products.
Calibrations are carried out at the client’s site or meters up to 2” can be calibrated in-house on water. Volume calibrations are traceable to the Rhomax-ITS Ltd mass transfer standard.

Liquid and Gas Densitometers:

Calibration and certification of Fiscal Liquid and Gas Densitometers under controlled, stable laboratory conditions. Rhomax-ITS Ltd provide storage and management services of customer equipment, reducing client storage requirements and ensuring the instruments are fully certified. Post manufacture, pre-site and regular laboratory re-certification can be accommodated to ensure full compliance and best measurement practice. Calibrations are carried out under stable conditions using standards traceable to the UK National Standards. Test status reporting and tracking of equipment provides a good history of the device.
