NMR Expertise, Resources and Capabilities

The Intertek North West Technology Centre laboratory (United Kingdom) provides extensive expertise in solid-state and solution-state NMR spectroscopy for clients across the world. Intertek Scientists apply NMR spectroscopy to the analysis and characterisation of materials and chemicals, serving a wide range of industries. Particular expertise resides in the laboratory for home and personal care products.

NMR expertise is also provided for the application of Time-Domain (TD) NMR spectroscopy, with analysis of materials from the pharmaceutical, fine/speciality chemical, agricultural and petrochemical industries.

The NWTC laboratory operates a high-field NMR service (500MHz solution state and 300MHz solid state) for liquid multinuclear, multi-dimensional NMR studies and solid-state multinuclear studies utilizing magic angle spinning and cross polarization techniques. We also operate a TD-NMR service for relaxation studies and low field applications.

The Intertek NWTC NMR laboratory provides advanced capabilities in NMR spectroscopy. State-of-the-art instrumentation, together with resident NMR experts allows for customisable and comprehensive scientific investigations. We provide automated solution state analysis in the form of an overnight service which performs all modern 1D and 2D NMR experiments without the need for manual intervention.
