The Intertek Northwest Technology Centre (NWTC) is a uniquely equipped research measurement facility offering a wide range of analysis and technical consultancy services. Background Launched in 2003, the Technology Centre evolved from a background in the analysis of products, raw materials and consumer substrates from the Home and Personal Care industry and boasts a diverse array of high-end measurement techniques to support this. Since the launch, the facility has gained a high level of experience in servicing a diverse range of industries such as medical devices, woundcare, pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals and healthcare / NHS. Staff The NWTC has a staff of 27 highly qualified and experienced scientists with knowledge gained from a wide range of backgrounds. The culture is very much focussed on customer service and the staff takes pride in delivering quality analysis to meet the clients detailed requirements from a large multi-technique project down to a routine measurement. Infrastructure The laboratory has a significant investment program in terms of the equipment and instrumentation to ensure we are always at the forefront of the relevant technology.
