Intertek has recently been awarded an exclusive five year contract from EES Coke, LLC for operation of the company’s on-site coke products laboratory in River Rouge, MI. EES Coke is a wholly owned subsidiary of DTE Energy based in Ann Arbor, MI. The laboratory will provide analytical support for all phases of EES’s Metallurgical Coke making operation located on Zug Island.

The coal and coke lab provides analytical testing of coal and coke raw materials, finished and by-products. Intertek has staffed the laboratory with an on-site manager and experienced chemists and technicians providing 24/7 services. Intertek looks forward to working in partnership with EES Coke bringing value added services and providing exemplary analytical capabilities.

Intertek provides 24/7 inspection services with offices and laboratories throughout the Great Lakes, USA Inland Waterway System and internationally. Inspection and testing services are coordinated for clients on a global basis.
