The Intertek Philadelphia laboratory offers testing and cargo inspection services for the petroleum refining and chemical industries. The facility services the tri-state region, Eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware and Southern New Jersey. As part of the USA and global Intertek laboratory network, the Philadelphia lab clients have a broad range of testing capabilities and expertise available in the Intertek group. The lab is located in Essington, just south of Philadelphia.

The Philadelphia Regional Laboratory recently completed a major upgrade project, creating a large 15,000 sq ft modern facility. The lab uses a Sapphire LIMS system and has ISO.9002 certification

The Essington location is strategically located to provide services on a 24/7 basis to the petroleum refining and petrochemical industries in the region. The Philadelphia area FastLab service offers fast sample pick-up and testing turnaround for clients.

 

Experienced chemists, technicians and scientists run the lab. Philadelphia tests for a wide variety of petroleum and petrochemical products. ASTM, USP, IP along with other standardized testing and sampling methodologies are followed.
